Expectations of the Revolutionary War Museum
1.
Student must research their chosen person and
write down the following; interesting facts, their part in the war, and how
they died or their role after the war if they survived.
2.
Students may choose a “talking wax figure”
(standing), a cut out from a tri-fold, or actual picture frame…No matter what
students choose they will be talking as if you were the person displayed. Note to parents, we have talked about these
choices in class.
3.
No matter the exhibit chosen, students must included
the following in their ‘exhibit”
·
Title of your exhibit clearly visible
·
The name of their person clearly visible with
birth and death under the name
·
A “push here for audio button” that visitors will
press, to hear students speak.
·
7-10 Interesting facts about their person. Student
may speak some of these facts but they also need to be posted in the display.
·
An interactive activity related to their person that
the visitors may do… (example decoding)
·
Pictures relating to the person chosen
·
You are not required to have dress up materials,
but it is recommended especially if you are a standing “wax statue”.
